Established in year1956, Kajari Art cottage is a part of Kataria Group founded by Late Shri Jessaram Kataria, offers wide range of Handicrafts, Furniture (White Metal and Marble), Textile handloom, paintings Sculptor’s and Thickri Handi Glass art work (one of our specialty, and we are the sole producer).

Our History:

The key person behind Kataria Group Late Shri Jessaram Kataria, started educating students with wooden turning work on leth machine for the creation of employment opportunities in the rural Udaipur (Rajasthan, India).  Teaching how to turn a simple wood into artistic shape decorating them with miniature painting and layering it with lakh in order to bring life into the wood, Shri Jessaram get order of exporting wooden flowers and lamp shades to the UK based client.

Delighted by the god gift and good returns oh hard work Shri Jessaram decided to open a small exclusive showroom of Indian Artistic Handicraft. After sometime he has got good orders from Indian and International Market, looking at the ample opportunities in the market Shri Kataria started devoting time to the showroom whole heartedly and starts innovating new designs and wood carvings. As a result of this hardship and diligence of Mr. Jessaram as an helping hand Mr. Madan Kataria opened a second showroom at Gulaab Baag Road, Udaipur in order to expand business and fulfill the market desires of good and quality artistic work.

Looking at the new opportunities in the market and to expand the artistic work from wood to other material Mr. Manoj Kataria started carving the artistic work in Marble, Glass, Wood and Mud under the name of KAJARI ART COTTAGE at Gulab Bagh Road, Udaipur.

Looking at the artistic work and the fame of the Kataria Group in the field of artistic work and handicraft work OBEROI Group offered him (Mr. Manoj) to be associated with them at UDAIVILAS hotel (Udaipur).

Looking at the excellent growth opportunities the Export business offers, a separate company - KAJRI EXPORTS - a part and parcel of KATARIA GROUP - came into existence. This Company is the brain-child of Mr. MANOJ KATARIA, son of Shri MADAN KATARIA, a young blue-blooded guy, brimming with brilliant business ideas, ambitions and aspirations. Especially to take care of the International buyers' requirements. Within a short span of 10 years of its existence, it has become a force to reckon with.

KAJRI EXPORTS is a Sole Proprietorship Company formed by Mrs. Resham Kataria W/O Mr. Manoj Kataria.
